Classroom is both the main front of school education, and the stage of teachers’ growth. In order to improve the classroom teaching level and teaching quality of our teachers, explore efficient classroom teaching and promote the professional growth of teachers, on the afternoon of March 22nd, the teachers of the Chinese group of the Primary Section attended the first Chinese open class seminar of this semester in the joint classroom. In fact, this teaching and research activity was carried out in accordance with two links: public class display and collective class evaluation.
In the first place, teachers Zhu Lijuan and Zhang Mengdi, guided by the concept of the new curriculum reform, made meticulous preparation and ingenious designs. With skilled teaching skills, rich teaching experience and solid and effective classroom training, they presented two high-level demonstration lessons for everyone, which achieved good teaching effects. On the one hand, in the teaching of the ‘White Goose’, Zhu Lijuan was driven by students' individual reading perception and dared to let them have independent and diversified perception, which made the lesson more solid, effective and full of Chinese charm. On the other hand, Zhang Mengdi taught the lesson ‘Spider Shop’, and the whole class was natural and smooth. Tightly around the teaching objectives, she deeply created the situation in the difficult teaching points, and vividly read aloud in the key teaching points. Therefore, students' hearts were gradually integrated into the text and the interesting shop situation.
In the second place, the teachers of the Chinese group made positive comments on the teaching contents of Zhu Lijuan and Zhang Mengdi respectively, who not only spoke highly of the two teachers, but also put forward feasible suggestions for improvement. Thus, the atmosphere of teaching and discussion was harmonious. What’s more, both the lecturers and teachers present could learn from each other and grow together in the activity.
To conclude, as the saying goes, ‘You can always find something to learn from the people who keep you company.’ Teachers learn from each other, and combine practice and reflection, which could not only optimize the teaching content and methods, but also improve their own professional quality. Therefore, it’s believed that our teachers will surely get closer and closer to the road of teaching specialization, and the flowers of education will be more brilliant!
